Keeping this in mind, Mankind Pharma launched a new ad campaign titled #Neki that best encapsulates the brand’s mission and philosophy to educate people to inspire and encourage people about acts of goodness in everyday life. The campaign reflects the company’s broader vision to foster an environment where compassion drives meaningful change in society.
The ad opens up with a young man returning home after becoming a doctor; however, he is unable to park his car as a bike was standing too close. Hearing the noise of the horns and the ruckus outside, both the families come out, which slowly turns into an argument. Soon tension escalates between the families, with both sides insisting on their own rights.
Even on the day of Diwali, there is a competition as both of the families try to outdo each other in the decoration of the lights. However, amidst the celebration of the festivals, one of the men from the other families suddenly collapses due to a sudden cardiac arrest. Soon, the moment of competition turns into a crisis.
Though the father initially turns a blind eye, the young doctor does not hesitate to help the man. Seeing this act of compassion, the father also comes forward, forgetting the rivalry, and rushes the man to the hospital.
The ad finally ends with the line, “Kindness resides in all of us. We just have to find it for others.” This ad is the perfect example that it is kindness and compassion that can even break the greatest of barriers.
